Jussi is a versatile percussionist based in Jyväskylä, Central Finland, where he also studies philosophy. He has been the percussionist in many different bands and he plays other instruments as well such as the didgeridoo. Indian and African rhythms have been of particular interest to him and he has been to Ghana where he leant traditional African drumming also. After he bought his tabla from a buddhist shop in Helsinki he felt like meeting again a long lost friend and since then he has been eagerly learning more of the intricacies of Indian rhythms.
